Adam is an accomplished lawyer with significant transactional and general corporate experience, including matters ranging from securities and corporate finance to joint ventures and distribution agreements.

In addition to his law practice with FDR, Adam is the CEO of Link Medicine, a CNS drug discovery and development startup company. Link is focused on developing products for neurodegenerative diseases based upon the work of its founding scientist, Peter Lansbury, Professor of Neurology at the Harvard Medical School, Director of the Parkinson's Disease Research Center of Excellence and founder and chair of the Laboratory for Drug Discovery in Neurodegeneration at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Before joining FDR, Adam was a member of the corporate department and private equity practice group at the Boston law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart. He previously practiced corporate, securities and transactional law at Hill & Barlow in Boston, Venture Law Group in Seattle and Chadbourne & Parke in New York. Adam has represented numerous private equity funds on fund formation, administration and investing, including many investments in the life sciences sector.

From 1999-2001, Adam was a Principal with Ovation Capital Partners, an early-stage technology venture capital firm in New York, where he sourced and evaluated potential investments and also worked closely with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and fundraising.

Adam received a B.A. from Whittier College, magna cum laude, and a J.D. from The University of Virginia School of Law. After graduating from law school he clerked with the Honorable Albert V. Bryan, Jr. of the United States District Court in Alexandria, Virginia.

Adam is a contributing editor to the Encyclopedia of Private Equity and Venture Capital, an online compendium maintained by VC Experts and Chief Editor Joe Bartlett. (http://vcexperts.com/vce/about_us/contributing_editors.asp).
